Real Valladolid will be competing in the Primera Liga again in 2012/13 after seeing off Alcorcon in their promotion play-off.
They booked their return to the top flight courtesy of a 2-1 aggregate success.
They headed into the return date of a two-legged tie looking to defend a 1-0 lead, but were pegged back just before half-time when Fernando Sales levelled matters.
Javi Guerra, who scored the winner in the first leg, proved to be Valladolid's hero as he netted six minutes after the interval to restore their advantage.
Valladolid are back in the big time after a two-year absence.
Their last stint among Spain's elite lasted three years, before they were relegated in 2010.
They came close to securing automatic promotion this term, but a third-placed finish saw them fall three points short of Celta Vigo and Deportivo La Coruna.
