Alan Pardew insists that Newcastle United are no longer a 'selling club' as they battle to keep hold of their top stars.
Fans were up in arms when Andy Carroll became the latest in a long line of talented players sold by the club to balance the books in January 2011.
Demba Ba and Hatem Ben Arfa top the list of current stars linked with moves away from the club following some thrilling performances last season.
But Pardew has moved to reassure fans that he is looking to add to his squad for their forthcoming Europa League campaign rather than trimming it.
Improve
"We haven't lost anybody yet," the LMA and Premier League manager of the year told the Chronicle. "Despite all of the speculation. We're working to bring a couple of people to improve the squad.
"Mike (Ashley) has made it clear he is committed to the club and we are working through the process of bringing players in."
Pardew was spotted in the group stages of Euro 2012 casting his eye over the players on show with a view to raiding the transfer market in the coming weeks.
He added: "Myself and Graham Carr are keeping an eye on the players we have been tracking during Euro 2012 and seeing how they have performed."
