AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has described Manchester City's former Inter Milan striker, Mario Balotelli, as a 'dream' transfer target.
The Italy international is preparing for Sunday's Euro 2012 quarter-final against England but his club future has become a topic of debate in his homeland.
Milan have in the past been linked with Balotelli, who City signed from Inter for £24million in August 2010, and he remains on their list of transfer targets.
City manager Roberto Mancini's opinion of the controversial 21-year-old fluctuated through last season's Premier League title-winning campaign.
But Milan are firm admirers of Balotelli, despite his unpredictable and unreliable behaviour and his past at bitter rivals Inter.
However, they admit it could only be a fantasy, as Galliani told Sky Sport Italia when question on the subject: "I have many desires. In all probability, it will remain a dream to see him (Balotelli) with the Rossoneri."

Robinho staying

Milan's priority this summer is to sign deep-lying central midfielder to fill the void left by the departure of Clarence Seedorf.
But Robinho is not expected to follow Seedorf out of the San Siro, while Galliani does not think Real Madrid's Kaka will be returning to Milan.
On Robinho, Galliani said: "He's fine at Milan. We want to keep. He will stay with us.
"Kaka will not come with us."
