Republic of Ireland are 10/1 with Sky Bet to finish Euro 2012 on a high by beating Italy at the Municipal Stadium in Poznan.
The Italians need to win to keep alive their chances of making the quarter-finals, although goal difference may be necessary to ensure their progress if Spain v Croatia ends in a draw.
Cesare Prandelli's men, who are 1/4 to secure victory, are 4/6 to cover a -1 handicap and 7/4 to win by three goals or more.
While Ireland are already eliminated, Italy are 5/6 to make the quarter-finals and 12/1 in the Euro 2012 outright betting.
The Azzurri remain unbeaten in competitive games under Cesare Prandelli when Antonio Cassano has played, and the good luck charm is 5/1 to open the scoring.
Mario Balotelli has looked dangerous for Prandelli's side so far, but has yet to find the net. TheManchester City striker is even money to score in 90 minutes and change that statistic on Monday.
The odds have Italy as firm favourites and rightly so, but they have one win apiece in major tournaments, with Ireland sealing a 1-0 win at the 1994 World Cup.
In that tournament, Ireland progressed after all four sides finished on four points and there is a possibility of a similar scenario happening this week.
Although Ireland are out of the equation, Sky Bet are offering 12/5 that Italy, Spain and Croatia will finish the group locked on five points, meaning UEFA may have to get their goal difference abacus out.
