Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman says Sam Baldock is a 'very good player', but insists there has been no contact over a move for the West Ham United striker.

However, he did not start a game after mid-January and is tipped to be allowed out on a season-long loan following West Ham's return to the Premier League.
Charlton Athletic
and Ipswich Town
have also been linked with a bid, and Freedman suggested the 23-year-old is the type of forward he would be interested in.
