Goalkeeping coach Ray Clemence is returning to England for an Achilles operation, manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed.
Former shot-stopper Clemence, a long-standing member of the Three Lions
backroom team, had to be carried off after snapping his tendon in the pre-match warm-up against France.

With the aid of crutches, the 63-year-old was able to watch the 1-1 draw at the Donbass Arena in Donetsk.
However, Clemence was clearly in considerable pain and Hodgson confirmed he will fly back to England for surgery.
"Our hoodoo with injuries continues with Ray Clemence snapping his Achilles tendon in the warm-up," said England's boss.

Hodgson lost four of his original 23-man squad to injury, with Gareth Barry (groin), Frank Lampard(thigh), John Ruddy (broken finger) and Gary Cahill (fractured jaw) all ruled out before his squad flew to their Krakow base last Wednesday.
