Portugal coach Paulo Bento insists he will not be changing his tactics when his side take on the Czech Republic in Thursday's Euro 2012 quarter-final.
Czech counterpart Michal Bilek has already said his team will be taking a more defensive approach to cope with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Joao Moutinho.
But Bento has made it clear he will not adapt his team to cater to their opponents.
"All of us are trying to hide some aspects of our strategy but one thing that always changes your strategy is a goal," he said.
"That always makes a great difference to a game. We have to try, even in adverse moments, to be loyal to our playing style.
"We have to keep cool minds, stay focused and tomorrow we'll see what our opponents will bring to the table.
"We have to counter they're strong points and focus on what we do well but that's no different to any other game."
Portugal played Poland at the National Stadium, the stage for Thursday's quarter-final, in a friendly a couple of months ago but Bento insists having previous experience of the ground won't make any difference.
"I don't think that's an advantage, Holland played three times in Kharkiv (and lost all three)," he said.
"I don't think a game two months ago has any influence, 50 minutes or one hour of training doesn't have any great influence.
"What does is strategy preparation and we'll have to put that into practice independent of the stadium where we play or train.
"We're well prepared, we've got great confidence and great humility which got us here and that's what we must combine with motivation."
