Dede: No official approach for the defender from AC Milan according to Vasco's president

Vasco da Gama centre-back Dede may be a target for AC Milan but there has been no bid yet, according to the club's president.
Dede has impressed for Vasco, making his debut for Brazil in September, and is reportedly attracting interest from some of the biggest clubs in Europe.
Milan are among the front-runners for his signature with the 23-year-old being lined up as a possible replacement if Thiago Silva leaves the Rossoneri this summer.
But while Vasco president Roberto Dinamite has admitted the club could be prepared to sell their star asset, he insists there has not been a formal approach.
"There has been no official request from AC Milan,
" Dinamite told calciomercato.com.

"Teams interested? It is the much talked about Italian, French, Spanish and English clubs but who wants him has to come to us because the player has a contract until 2014 and, at least for now, nobody has.
"Could we sell him if faced with an offer? It's possible but for now, I repeat, there are no bids and I think the player doesn't want to leave Brazil."
