Can Michael O'Neill's youngsters upset mighty Holland?
I hope you've enjoyed the commentary with me Rebecca Stephenson. Thank you for all your input to me on twitter @1rebs and via my e-mail rebecca.stephenson@bskyb.com.
I hope to share another game with you soon!!
And if that's not enough, there's the likes of van der Vaart and Huntelaar as alternative options
For Holland, they look ripe and ready ahead of the Euros. Robben looks is fantastic form, and in Sneijder they have one of the best passers of the ball in world football. They can pass the ball for fun, and there's always the box-threat of van Persie.
I thought James McPake did relatively well on his debut, and Andrew Little looked bright in patches, but they were woefully short of possession to show any attacking flair
It really could have been a lot more. The Dutch took their foot off the pedal in the second half, but it will be good experience for the young NI side, ahead of some tough games next season.
Full Time90 It was a pleasure to watch - unless you were Northern Irish.
Full Time90 Its over!! A lesson in football for this young Northern Ireland side.
90 Terrible miss from John Heitinga of Everton - over the bar from about 2 yards out. This really could have been a cricket score.
88 There's the moment of the match from Northern ireland - Niall McGinn nutmegs Dirk Kuyt!... well if you can't get a consolation goal...
86 Another long range shot from van der Vaart - just tipped over by Carroll
85 Northern Ireland enjoying some possession... its on the halfway line but beggers can't be choosers!
Feedback82 Steve Vernon: Having seen that VDV shot hitting the post, Roy Carroll is looking every day of his 35+ years!
Substitution80 Arjen Robben off for Holland, replaced by Luciano Narsingh
Substitution80 Ferguson off, David Healy on
Feedback79 Barry: Just managed to find your commentary - having seen the score, I wish I hadn't!!
Goal77 GOAL Ron Vlaar makes it six from a near post header from a corner
74 As i speak van der Vaart hits a terrific shot which comes off the inside of the post but comes out
73 The game has definitely dropped a gear or two - fortunately for the NI team... but you just feel that whenever the Dutch get the inclination they could just add another... my guess would be this won't go above 6 though.
Substitution70 Sneijder off for Dirk Kuyt
Substitution68 Carroll comes for the corner, but fumbles it, but the shot is wide
Substitution68 Afellay goes for his hat tirick but Carroll saves it - corner
64 The Dutch are just happy to pass the ball around at the moment, but they come forward, Willem slides it into Sneijder who curls it on the turn from a narrow angle but it's JUST over the bar
62 Holland kick off their Euro 2012 campaign against Denmark on Saturday - can't wait to see how they get on against stronger opposition - they're in the group of death with Germany and Portugal
Substitution61 Michael Duff is having to go off with that ankle injury - Rory McArdle is on
59 Looks like Duff may have twisted his ankle here.. whist Willem is getting treatment for a dislocated finger (ouch)
Substitution55 Huntelaar on for van Persie, van Der Vaart on for van Bommell and for Northern Ireland Niall McGinn is on for Andrew Little
55 Whisper it - NI just put together a 20 pass move!!
52 That was a great move for the fifth goal. Robben broke down the right, played it into the area, van persie laid it off and Afellay dfid the rest - great finish.
Feedback52 Ben Crossley: Carroll is about to reclaim no.1 spot. Little having a good game not afraid to take the ball. need McGinn on
Feedback52 Clint Day: I've got £50 on holland winning by 2 goals or more and £50 on there being more than 3.5 goals in the game. I'm very happy so far!
Goal51 Goal Affellay gets his second from a van Persie lay-off
Sky Bet50 If you fancy a bet - you can get 1/10000 on Holland to win... so if you've got a spare 10 grand, enjoy your £1 winnings!
Feedback46 Steve Vernon: Against albeit limited opposition, I must say Holland have looked an impressive unit so far!
46 Here we go - the second half is underway
Substitution45 Subs for NI - Roy Carroll Ryan McGivern and Josh Carson are on, Lee Camp, Daniel Lafferty and Grant McCann are off
45 Would you believe - no changes for Holland at the start of the second half - I won't pretend I'm not relieved! One at a time would be good for the written commentator thank you!!
Half Time45 Keep your views coming to me - who's been the best player on the park so far? which was the best goal? how many will the Dutch get? tweet me @1rebs or e-mail rebecca.stephenson@bskyb.com
Half Time45 And there's the half-time whistle - enjoy your half-time cuppa.... or maybe something stronger if you're of Northern Irish persuasion!!
42 I'm warming up my fingers for the substitutions - bound to be plenty of typing for me at the start of the second half!
40 van Persie misses a sitter from 8 yards after a great through ball from Robben
Feedback41 Ben Crossley: we're gifting them goals now, such basic mistakes. Lafferty getting tortured at left back.
38 Northern Ireland corner - but headed wide by Duff
36 It was a great through ball from van Persie - reverse pass, and Afellay slotted it home from a tight angle
Goal36 GOAL Afellay makes it four!
Feedback35 Gareth Long :It doesn't help when the NI team are missing the majority of its first squad. Though saying that Holland are world class.
34 An attack for NI .. Duff has a shot blocked, it falls to Little but another block denies him
34 Another great move by the Dutch ends with Willem firing into the side netting
31 van Bommel denied by a stretching Lee Camp
Penalty Goal29 Goal Slotted home by van Persie into the bottom right hand corner - Lee Camp went the wrong way
Penalty Given27 Handball by Shane Ferguson - that's harsh - his hands were by his side
26 Sneijder breaks through again but Lee Camp spreads himself to block
25 Remember, this Dutch side averaged nearly 4 goals a game in the Euro 2012 qualifying.. but there's no doubt this will be good experience for the young Northern Ireland side
23 Robben breaks clear but is given offside - it's a close one, could've gone either way
22 Another attempt from the Dutch - Afellay curls it over the bar... No lover of football can fail to enjoy watching this side
21 Great block from McPake.. strange to say it in these circumstances but he's having a decent debut so far
18 Sometimes you just have to sit back and applaud play like this. The passing is fantastic. But the NI side are still fighting, they need to keep their heads up
16 NI need to be careful here - they're up against it enough without being down to 10-men
Yellow Card15 Lee Hodson with a poor challenge on Willems
Goal14 Goal Sneijder with a fantastic free kick - no chance for Lee Camp - right into the top corner
Yellow Card13 A poor tackle from Michael Duff - free kick to the Dutch on the edge of the box
12 the Dutch have come for a party, and the crowd are certainly enjoying themselves - Mexican wave already
11 It was a free header on the far post from a corner - too easy really..
Goal11 Goal Van Persie for Holland .....header from a corner
Headed away by McPake - he's started well
Robben tries to go past McPake and claims a penalty after a clash with the Coventry defender but the referee gives a free kick
Robben threatens down the wing but Shane Ferguson with a great challenge
The Dutch are camped in the NI half - first shot for Lee Camp to save from Sneijder - comfortable
Corner headed away though
Andrew Little with a great run - wins a corner!
The Dutch, as is tradition are knocking the ball around, short passes, but no real attacks so far.. patient play
Looks like a complete mismatch on paper... but football's not played on paper.... here we go.. we're underway
Remember to keep your views coming in, wherever you are in the world - tweet me @1rebs or email rebecca.stephenson@bskyb.com
God Save the Queen is roundly applauded by the Dutch - shame they didn't vote for us in Eurovision!
Here we go then - the Anthems are being played and the little pocket of Northern Irish fans are making themselves heard
FeedbackBen Crossley: Definitely not our strongest team on the pitch. O'Neill will be looking to give the new boys a chance. Looking forward to the game
