Ross Draper: Midfielder has signed a one-year contract with Inverness after leaving Macclesfield
Sky Bet
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have completed the signing of Ross Draper on a one-year contract after the midfielder rejected a new deal at Macclesfield Town.
Sky Sports revealed earlier this week that Inverness were poised to sign Draper on a free transfer after Macclesfield were relegated from the Football League.
Draper was one of the Silkmen's stand-out performers last term but was powerless to prevent their relegation from League Two.
His displays brought him to the attention of a number of sides in England, who had been vying for his signature after he decided to quit Macclesfield.
As he is under 24, Macclesfield would have been due a compensation fee, if Draper had stayed in England, but he has been able to join Inverness for nothing.
